Are you guys expecting the Yankees to be over or under .500 this season? The last time they had a sub-.500 season was in 1992!

I think if it were any other team, I would say that they will be a hair under .500, but the Yankees, lately, seem to have coach tingencies for not having as strong starting pitching as many other teams. They return a strong bullpen, they have PRODUCTIVE hitters, not exceptional but productive, and there is always the chance a guy from the new and exciting minor league system pops up onto the NY roster and bumps them above .500.

Kind of amazing to be over .500 when you're re-tooling though, no? Yeah it is amazing to be over .500 while rebuilding. but it is the yankees and if they can push through a season or two and all of those youngsters fill into their very highly regarded talent they will be back to their old beastly selves.
