It's been a wild year at the top in NCAA men's hoops. Only Gonzaga is unbeaten -- not entirely unlike UConn women in that their conference isn't great -- but there are still plenty of contenders for the title this year. Duke's been a bit down, but they could still surprise people if they're healthy. Don't sleep on Villanova either.
Who do you like in the brackets this season?

Kind of like Villanova to repeat. Hopefully they won't get tripped up by Duke in the tournament.

Does anyone believe in Gonzaga?

This is a difficult year for me. I could talk myself into no less than 10 teams to be my pick to win it all. UNC is gonna be tough for anyone to matchup with inside. Which is why, gun to my head, they would be my pick right now. Shooting comes and goes, but their size and skill on the boards and inside will always be there, making them a tough out for anybody.

Kansas is my favorite. I have a lot of faith in Louisville based on track record over the last few years.
Any Big Ten entrants could make the sweet 16. The conference could have six teams in at a 7 seed or higher. Purdue, Michigan State, Wisconsin making a run for the Final Four wouldn't shock me in the least. I tend to be a little Big Ten biased while not trusting PAC 12.

- Gonzaga falls to BYU. Bye-bye #1 seed and #1 ranking. I think this will help them psychologically in the long run and they'll only fall to a #2 seed.
- Kansas and Louisville are still my picks to go to the national championship game. Both are looking good right now.
- Do you trust the top 10, PAC-10 trio of Arizona, Oregon, UCLA?
- Duke and UNC in the top 10. Tough to bet against them in the dance.
- Any sleepers on your radar?

Gonzaga will win their conference tournament but they have no wins over season ending top 15 teams. They smell like a 3-5 seed to me, but they'll get a 1.
Speaking of WCC, St. Mary's will go in to the NCAA tournament without any currently ranked wins. They'll get a 6?
I think people try a little too hard to fall in love with Gonzaga - and St. Mary's a little bit as byproduct of being a pretty good annual bridesmaid.
