The old days of Netsports came around the time Moneyball (the book) came out, and so we had a lot of discussions about market inefficiencies and OBP and learning about sabermetrics.
The truth is, there's always going to be market inefficiency -- it's just a matter of finding it.
So what do you think it is right now?
I'll posit this guess:
Groundball rate.

Pitch framing has quickly caught up as being a valued skill, as evidenced by Castro's contract this off season.
I feel like this off season, I could be the home run... when the ball seems juiced lately and a lot of middle infielders seem to hit 20 in a year, the "big thumpers" don't get the big big FA deals, and that's what happened this offseason.
I don't have the exact numbers on me, because I'm sitting on the toilet at work and should make this brief before they activate the search party, but for $30 million this off season, you could have signed Batista, Carter, and Trumbo, and added proyally 100 home runs to your team.
